Outer Banks Watermelon Festival
The Outer Banks Watermelon Festival is a summer celebration you don’t want to miss! This event includes watermelon, music, games, food, contests and more. Event will be held at Jockey’s Ridge Crossing, is hosted by Kitty Hawk Kites and proceeds benefit the Outer Banks Bicycle & Pedestrian Safety Coalition.
Outer Banks Pirate Festival
The Outer Banks Pirate Festival is held at Jockey’s Ridge Crossing in Nags Head and is hosted by Kitty Hawk Kites. Learn the history of pirates who lived on the Outer Banks, let your kids participate in Scallywag School, have dinner with the pirates and more.
Brew & Arts
Brew & Arts is held every Monday evening at the Outer Banks Brewing Station. Enjoy a locally crafted beer as you browse the local artists display that includes jewelry, pottery, paintings and much more. There will also be an opportunity to participate in a make-and-take art project, as well. A pirate shop playground is available for the kids to enjoy. This event benefits the Outer Banks Children at Play Museum.
BIC SUP One Design Series
The BIC SUP One Design Series is held in Duck. Join fellow paddleboarders and show off your skills in this next to the last event for the summer. A family-friendly and free event hosted by Kitty Hawk Kites.
